At Yelcho in Patagonia and its surroundings, we offer a variety of walks for all levels. From family-friendly trails within the property to more challenging excursions in the region’s national parks, each route provides a unique connection with Patagonia’s natural beauty.
🌿 On the Property
Trail to the Lago Yelcho Viewpoint
Starts at the hotel reception and passes through native forest, our vegetable garden, and open meadows, leading to a viewpoint with panoramic lake views.

🥾 Difficulty: Easy
❄️ Ventisquero Yelcho – Corcovado National Park
Located 5 km from the hotel, this trail crosses Valdivian rainforest and leads to a viewpoint with a direct view of the glacier.

🥾 Difficulty: Easy to moderate
🌲 Pumalín National Park – East Sector
About 20 km from the hotel, this protected area features two notable trails:
- Ranita de Darwin

🌄 Pumalín National Park – West Sector
For those wanting to explore further, the west sector of Pumalín Park is at a greater distance from the hotel (requires your own vehicle or arranged transport), featuring three prominent walks:
- Las Cascadas Trail
A forest walk culminating in a series of impressive waterfalls.

- Alerce Milenario Trail
A short and accessible route to see one of the oldest trees on the planet.
